Romanesque

I can't get all three photos to line up with each other. Pity. It would be interesting to see them side by side from left, middle to right, don't you think? I guess you'll have to use your imagination. The place? Where I sing on Sunday mornings, where some beautiful music is made, and where my soprano colleague Jessica Tarnish gives me goosebumps. A Romanesque church on the East Side of Manhattan, the architecture reminds me of churches in Umbria, Italy, where I sang this past summer. Not lost on me, however, is the fact that this church is twelve centuries younger.
